Hey there, welcome to the TypeSpeed Exercises! Want to learn how to type like a pro? You're in the right place!
Lessons:
Below are the exercises you can do. Completing them in order is the best way, but feel free to try whichever ones you'd like. If you're logged in, the exercise completion is recorded for you, but the exercise content is the same whether or not you're logged in.
Lesson 1
In this lesson, you learn how to position your hands on the keyboard. You also start using the first five keys that a typer should learn: A,S,D, and F, and backspace.
Lesson 2
This lesson teaches you how to use the JKL; and SPACE keys in conjunction with the BACKSPACE key, and the ASDF keys.
Lesson 3
This lesson will show you how to use the RTYU keys. There will be some revision from previous lessons as well.
Lesson 4
In this lesson, you'll learn all about the EIGH keys. There is also an emphasis about always making sure to put your fingers back on their original keys after they've moved to a different key to type.
Lesson 5
You will learn in this lesson how to use the CVB keys. This lesson is a little bit harder than the others, because the CVB keys all use the left hand.
Lesson 6
You will learn in this lesson how to use the NM,. keys. Like Lesson 5, Lesson 6 requires the use of only one hand. In this lesson, that hand is your right one.
Lesson 7
This lesson guides you through typing with the QWOP keys. This lesson uses only your pinky and ring fingers. Once you've finished this lesson, you'll have learned all the letters in the middle and top rows.
Lesson 8
In this final lesson you'll learn how to use the ZX keys. This lesson is shorter than the others as it covers only two keys.
